Rocket goal, he gives his all every game.
  • Wilson has really turned it around this season, he barely played last season, either for Bolton or for Posh on loan

He always was alright after signing for us. One of those players some decide is useless after a few mistakes early on his Charlton career. After that they see every mistake as proof that they are correct.

He came on as a sub for Wiggins in the televised game against Palace in our first season back in the Championship. I think it was his last minute long range effort, smashed high into the covered end, that stirred up the boo boys, when he probably should have tried to cross the ball into the box.

Certainly has. Real grafter, the sort of player Parkinson loves.

Lawrie is a modern day Kishishev and that is meant as a compliment.

Looking back, this is a shrewd observation. Nail on head
Better than Kish. He isn't a headless chicken.

Has Lawrie played 7 seasons in the Prem?

I have a lot of time for Lawrie, hence my original post, but in no way is or was he a better player than Kish and Kish was much more than a 'headless chicken.'

    For info:
The Sun on Monday (31st) has a story about LW and the "used to be shi**e" song.
