    John Barnes in better shape in that photo than when he was at The Valley

    I remember seeing prince Nadeem in a Sheffield nightclub in his fighting days, he had two big guys behind him then I guess because some loon may have tried to punch him from behind.

    Back then anyone's chances of drunkenly laying a punch on him from the front would have been almost impossible.

    Wouldn't have recognised those pictures as being the same guy.

    Looks pretty happy now. Good luck to him.

    Most of those fat former footballers were fairly chubby when playing. The one who were trim as players have generally stayed the same, especially the more recent players who were used to strict diets

    I just have mirrors fitted like in a circus and it's amazing how tall and thin I am
