    Oh no - I was at college in Manchester 1987-1992 & was deeply into that music scene, saw the Inspiral Carpets many times & used to see Gilly in all the pubs and clubs & especially the record shops - he was so young. We are getting old....

    Friday's people's history of pop on BBC4 had a short interview with Craig, where he shows the poster that gave Oasis their name

    He looks really well and happy in the clip to, which makes it all the more sad.

    I saw that, good programme.....he was 14 when he joined the band.
