'I believe in Father Christmas' is a great song. 2016 has been a terrible year for music.

RIP - a great artist of his time. It's not that 2016 is a bad year. There are just more stars from the 60s and onwards and they are starting to die now.0

Saw ELP in Lewisham Odeon 1971. Remember Greg's solo during 'Take a pebble' with his acoustic guitar, fantastic voice and guitar sound.

Snap, Thought they were pretty much note perfect. Saw them at the Melody Maker's Poll winner concert as well at the Oval. When I was at art college, one of the students used to repair and manage the stage costumes, at least from 70\71. Take a pebble was a great song, from the first album which I understand they played throughout . Of course the whole ELP thing got out of proportion, but I was probably just jealous of all the partying. These guys could play very well. Sad to hear the news.Raith_C_Chattonell said:Saw ELP in Lewisham Odeon 1971. Remember Greg's solo during 'Take a pebble' with his acoustic guitar, fantastic voice and guitar sound.

Planet Rock radio station is predicting that if the Greg Lake Christmas song is reissued, it'll be the Christmas Number One .. death always seems to increase popularity .. strange that0

Crimso lost a great singer when he jumped ship.
Never was a fan of ELP though I always admired their musicianship
