Great pictures of a packed North stand
Unrecognizable from now7 -
Thanks for the cheery music today @Nug. Otherwise I would be in bits again. Instead I am cross.5

Yet another thing I haven't forgiven you for, Roland and Katrien. And I never will. You could get us to the premier league (lol) and it still won't make up for it.
It's time to go. Get out of our club8 -
Was chatting with some Bournemouth fans who were on their way to see the match that ended with them being promoted to the Premier League. Yann's name came up and they assumed he would not get a great reception back at the Valley. I assured them he would get a great welcome. Not surprisingly, I was right. He will always hold a special place in the heart of Charlton fans.0

I STILL DREAM OF A TEAM OF KERMORGANTS!!
You bastards.8 -
My kid's first true Charlton hero.
Thanks Roland. Shattering dreams of children (and adults) since 2014... you arse.12 -
I really miss seeing him in a Charlton shirt0
-
That final goal was one of the best I have ever seen at the Valley11

What a player, what a man, exactly why I hate this mob, they just ain't got a clue.2

Just love Yann.
To me, he is up there with the likes of Chrissie Powell, Jacko, Kinsella, Rufus and Deano as legends who epitomised what Charlton were all about.
Sums up the madness of the Duchatelet & Meire reign.14 -
..not forgetting the great 'always had to have the last word with the ref' John Robinson. Keeping my fingers crossed my favourite Robbo moment is going to feature on the calendarDavo55 said:Just love Yann.

Not only did they let him go but they had a deal worked out for him to re-sign last January but she blew it out at the last minute.
But they had learnt from their mistakes.1 -
What a pathetic, snivelling little rat of a CEO we've got.
Wonder how much attention was paid to Yann's input before he was let go?
But then Thomas knows best I suppose.1 -
Great player for us.0

Please tell me that she has no authority of any sort on footballing matters and is just a number cruncher/puppet for RolandHenry Irving said:Not only did they let him go but they had a deal worked out for him to re-sign last January but she blew it out at the last minute.

Not good enough.
Brilliant and what a range of goals he scored.0 -
I have no idea if it was her call or Driesen's or even Duchatelet.oohaahmortimer said:

Doesnt matter.
She asked Chris Parkes to broker a deal which he did and then she said no even though it was a free transfer and at the rage level she'd demanded.2 -
I read that at the time. Breathtaking incompetence. Although may have been foisted on her by RD for all we know the mad old goat.1

Strange how every day these videos (covering aspects of the last 60-odd years) seem to generate a different emotion in you.
Emphasized to me just how much an impact Charlton has played on my life4 - Sponsored links:

But from speaking with her (not stalking), I do know that she thinks she does.
