Considering the number of players missing, that's a pretty adventurous line up.ForeverAddickted said:CHARLTON | Phillips, Foley, Konsa, Teixeira, Chicksen, Jackson (c), Aribo, Botaka, Lookman, Hanlan, Novak. #cafc #CAFCLive

Looks great going forward - but not much defensive cover from midfield.
There's a bit of pace at the back, so Robbo must want to play a high line compressing the space between our defence and forwards.
The fullbacks will be expected to get forward, keeping the midfield narrow with Jackson sitting offering a bit of cover and tidy passing range as long as he himself doesn't get exposed.
Everybody is going to need to work their arses off.

The problem here is that Jackson doesn't really offer any cover. As you say, a lot of hard work is going to be needed, so I guess he's not planning on using too many of these against the Posh as they'll be knackered.Oggy Red said:

I can see this being like our teams in the '70s when the plan was to not care how many we conceded as long as we scored at least one more.0 -

I was looking at that line up and thinking along the same lines with that Brighton at home matchAddicksAddict said:

Very attacking line up? Goals aplenty but 4-3 to Franchise FC.0
