    no mercy nowadays !!
  • Can't be a football related decision.

Robert is very highly-regarded so won't have to wait too long for a new job.
  • Something has to have happened behind the scenes, he seems a great young manager.

Ridiculous. Give it a few months and they can join the Allegiance of Supporters Groups who are angry that they're clubs are being run by idiots, alongside us, Coventry, Wolves, Orient, Blackpool, Leeds, Blackburn, Swansea, Hull, Cardiff, etc.

Hey FA and Football League, why not introduce some proper governance to protect your stakeholders? Crazy idea, sorry.

They only beat Ipswich 2-1 last night...awful.

  • I'd imagine it's to do with the upcoming transfer window & targets/lack of funds, however, I suspect it's the new owners have their man lined up - Football is ridiculous these days in terms of money, owners etc.....

So pleased we've got such brilliant owners & a long term manager with a settled squad that has plenty of options........

Shameful. He's taken them from a relegation battle to promotion contenders, with no funds.

Surely, there's more to it than their league position.

Have to hope they will struggle for the rest of the season. Hasn't paid off for Wolves sacking Kenny Jackett.

Lost 4-0 to Newcastle at the weekend which isn't even that much of a bad result. Absolutely crazy decision. The bloke has got a good future in football ahead of him.

Zola favourite apparently, complete step backwards and really hope they fall back in to the relegation battle they were in when Rowett took over. Awful decision.

I'm still trying to work out who Gary Rowlett is.

In other news I can't believe Gary Rowett has been let go by Birmingham.
  • He'll get his contract paid up and walk straight into another job in the next few months.

Just a shame everything he built there will be wasted and he'll have to start again elsewhere.

Peculiar decision to say the least. Sounds like the owners have big plans though

Ridiculous decision but then that's football these days. A monkey with a hammer would do a better job of running most football clubs in this country.

Still, Rowett's too good for Birmingham anyway. He'll walk in to another job no problem.

Another case of more barmy foreign owners with no idea about football. Whilst the FA are more interested in Wayne Rooney's alcohol consumption, than the state of unfit owners in the English game.
  • Stunned. There have been some bizarre sackings over the years, but that has to be right up there with the worst.

I bet the Villa fans will be pissing themselves today

Stupid decision signing Michael Morrison on a free transfer.

He could have bought Nabby Sarr for 2m Euros but he had to go with an English player who knew the league.

Deserved to get the push just for that.

That free transfer scored last night too I believe.
