Love the Upbeats!!!
Amidst a really poor run of results, when they went freestyle on the pitch versus Derby at half time a few seasons ago was one of my favourite and most proud moments following Charlton. So proud CL has been able to play a part in their journey17 -
A great team - I just love their laps of honour and seeing both home and away fans applauding them.0

I know I have said this a few times but this is an outstanding thread, one of CL's very finest.
Magnificent stuff, Nug.

Brilliant again. At the end of the month will there be a chance to get a link for them all together so we can share with our friends and family who don't look at CL?

Amazing. Possibly the best yet. Time to put something of for sale to raise some money for the Upbeats.0

Absolutely superb.0

love The Upbeats. The sheer joy, the unbridled happiness, The Upbeats is a very apt name.0

Well that brought a smile to my face!0

Just wiped away a tear at that one, brilliant stuff.0

That's done it for me, brought tears to my eyes. This is one aspect of the club KM cannot destroy.0

You'd like to think so but I would put nothing past her. Hopefully the club will just continue in their support of The Upbeats and not try to hijack them for their own ends.Dansk_Red said:That's done it for me, brought tears to my eyes. This is one aspect of the club KM cannot destroy.

A goal scorer who knew how to hit the back of the net time & time again.oohaahmortimer said:Ffffs they bring back happy memories but make me wanna go all Liam Neeson on Roly .
What a pleasure it was to watch Kermorgant play, a true artist of the game .
Each and every person responsible for him leaving should hang their head in shame for the rest of their clueless lives .
Sadly, our current players need a SatNav.0 - Sponsored links:

The Upbeats are yet another great example of how the fans, the Community Trust and football club can work together to achieve great things and change people's lives.
Specifically in this context of harnessing the reach of Charlton Life to win the original competition and so funding that helped set the programme up.

If you like the Upbeats you should check out the South London Special League they run tournaments just round the corner from the Valley. Truly amazing day for all concerned, the charity I work for had team that went regularly for about 3 years, generally had about 20 teams for each tournament for people of all abilities. Some amazing players out there. To Sharon (she organises it all) and any of her team if you are on CL please keep up the good work you are amazing.3

Brilliant - would love to see an Upbeats match at the end of a full match. I'm sure a good number would stay behind and there could be a collection on the way out. Wouldn't that give them a special moment?1

She did the walk but that was a long time ago. Would she do a similar walk now? I doubt it.Henry Irving said:

I wouldn't, however, put it past her to cite the work with The Upbeats as something great that the current regime has instigated.0 -
She did the walk in 2015, I wonder how much she raised in sponsorship, the cynic in me she she only did it to raise her profile with the fans, I remember a number of people going out of their way to talk her. She was nowhere to be seen last year.0

plenty to have a go at the Club / individuals about, this isn't one of them. A reminder that this is a thread aimed at celebrating the good things / moments regarding Charlton. Lets try and keep it positive please guys. thanks2

Imagine if a thousand plus of us disaffected turned up to follow the Upbeats every week... a team well worthy of our full support.3

Goosebumps
I love that man2 -
Remember when we scored from corners rather than conceded from them?
His importance to SCP's promotion-winning team cannot be overstated.3
