I definitely reckon that Johnnie reads the blogs and forums...
How else was he able to make the comment after the Bleep test during the summer when he jokingly responded that for a while now people have been writing off his fitness etc.2 -

The word Legend gets thrown about a fair bit, but when it comes to this guy it really rings true.
The way he gives up time for fans, both in person and on social media is wonderful.
His commitment to the club and the passion he shows on (and off) the pitch is incredible.
The example he sets to kids is phenomenal.
He never hides behind others and is always willing to put himself on the line.
All of this whilst being an honest, polite, humble, decent human being.
Johnnie Jackson is an absolute Legend and always will be for Charlton fans and many non Charlton fans too.32 -
I really hope that whatever he decides to do after he retires from playing, that he will - at some stage - prefer to do it at CAFC.
I fully respect that he should only do that if CAFC as an employer appreciates what he can bring to the club by working for it, over and beyond whatever professional skills the job demands.18 - Sponsored links:

Love JJ, we'd be in a far worse state if he hadn't been around the last 3 years.! Lovely gesture from him, he's one of the few that still makes Charlton a special club.18

Towards the end of last season I bumped into JJ at my golf club (he was on the wrong fairway!).
Despite it being his day off he was happy to chat for a few minutes and was very honest in what he said. His enthusiasm for the club (as opposed to the regime) was obvious and he clearly understands the fans and their importance.
When you combine the man's character with his impact on the pitch over the years, 'legend' is not an exaggeration.5 -

Bloody hell, I just read Kyle's blogpost, and urge everyone to do the same. I only know him from his excellent Voice articles and never had any idea of the struggles he faces.
Sometimes even I think, ok it is only football, maybe it's time to step back a bit, the fight for our club is a drain on energy that perhaps could be better spent elsewhere. From now on, any time I think that, I am going to think of Kyle.
We are fighting for the soul of our club, and for Kyle, and many people like him, much more than just a bit of football hangs on us winning.

Classy thing to do though things must be worse at the club than I'd realised, there's no paper left to write a note on. I wonder if he made a spelling mistake on any previous versions and had to screw them up and throw them in the bin ?1
