    Brilliant.

I thought he was great on Countdown.
  • Meanwhile, Robinson has also extended the stay of Chris O'Loughlin, who will work as First-Team Coach until the end of the season.

    What was Simon Clark's title?
  • We're saved!!!

    Who's Richie Barker?

    ex-Bury / Crawley / Portsmouth Manager

First task redecorate the Sparrows Lane Clubhouse - the wallpaper Slade put up is all wrong, doesn't even join properly

No mention of his job title.

So now we potentially have two assistant managers in Barker and Nugent plus two first team coaches (Clark and O'Loughlin). That's probably two more than we usually have.

Will be interesting to see if Clark and/or Nugent stay.

Hilarious how news on Cuckoo Chris only sneaks out under other stories

KR "I want Richie Barker like you promised, la"

KM "but MK Dons want compensation. I've never had to negotiate that before for a coach as they be always been part of uncles network or unemployed, what do I do?"

KR "calm down, calm down, just pay them the money and tell Uncle Roland it's part of the PR budget"

KM "ok, but you have to keep Chris O'Loughlin for the rest of the season "

KR "no problem, he's on the phone to some bloke in Belgium most of the time anyway".

Bit of an odd one this. They never mentioned what length of contract he was on when he joined and now they just say that this undefined period of time has been extended to the end of the season. How was he employed before? Was he just here on a Staprix retainer as a sub-contractor of coaching services? Is he even a Charlton employee now?
  • We have to be pleased about this. Obviously Robinson wanted Barker so we have to assume our coaching is strengthened at least in the managers eyes. We do now have rather a lot of coaches though. Can't see Nugent and Clark remaining.

Hope Clark is kept on in some capacity; even if it going back to help with the youngsters. We have lost too many good youth and academy coaches in last few years.

Hopefully Barker will bring in the tactical nous that was clearly missing on Saturday.

It's just what we need, they can go in mob handed after a crap performance and give the players personalised grief or coaching on the training ground.

    Sure it's not Ronnie Barker

Would have to assume he is Robinson's appointment and not Roland's, as well.

Welcome Ritchie, hope you are a success here,
  • Cant see Nugent staying now. Remind me what was his record?

    And whats K.Rs record?

Never mind the managers, how many assistants/coaches/mates of the manager have we had since Roland took over??

We now have the same number of coaches as we do centre halfs
Brilliant stroke of genius by Roland give them one each

You don't know just how close you are to the truth their Henry, especially about Cuckoo Chris on the phone to Roland all the time
