Favourite 11

I expect this has been done before but it seems a good time to reflect on a 'favourites' team to have represented Charlton. This is mine but I feel a bit guilty not having Killer or Flan in the team plus Colin Powell. On another day I might have Robert Lee or even dear old Les Berry in the side.

    Who would have thought when we sold Robert Lee and brought in Robinson - a more limited player in terms of ability- that he would make it above Lee in our favourite Charlton XI. He had such a heart that made him a success. A deserved Charlton legend.

    He's just waiting to see if Lepoint passes a late fitness test. If he doesn't, Tudgay gets a start.

    Whoops! have added Sir Chris into my team. Can't cope with the subs but as mcBobbin says really loved the spirit of these players, maybe should have Brownie instead of Jorge but will leave it now.

    Glad to see my all time favourite player, Alan Campbell, has made it into your selection. Probably would have found room for Len Glover (instead of Paul Mortimer) and Mike Bailey (for ANO).

    I know Bowen was only here for that promotion season, but he was class.

    For balance there should perhaps be another CB on the bench but I struggled overall to think of one who should definitely be in there. I started going properly 88-89 season to give some perspective
