    He played in the first ever match I saw and was player of the year that season. For those of you with the revised edition of Home and Away there're a great picture of him scoring on page 243.

    RIP to the only Charlton Player (to my knowledge) whose name could also serve as his own obituary.

    Excellent player but he got a serious knee injury towards the end of his Charlton days. Saw him in the old Miller hospital out patients being treated when I attended the fracture clinic with a broken collar bone.

  • Went to Leyton Orient today. They had a minutes silence. All is family we're there. Well loved at Orient as he was by us. RIP

    I have phoned and spoken to the Orient media guy(sorry I've forgotten his name) and he's going to pass on info regarding CL and this thread to the family.
