Cars moving at full speed might have something to do with it! Bloody dettling hill. I'll go check out the rumours thread, I'm sure that will keep me entertainedMacronate said:

Not a thing at Meadowhall. No snow, no rain, bit cold, but dry as a bone out. Gritters out around Sheff and on M1 and M18. Nive clear sky, so probably expecting a frost overnight. The only snowmen likely round here are the tacky plastic kind that are left up all year round in my neighbours garden. AND THEY'RE STILL LIT UP!! It's 12th January FFS. Baa humbug.cantersaddick said:Melting in Canterbury. Unless we get a lot more and the temperature drops significantly there won't be any left by the morning...

I had trouble getting home to Meopham tonight via Wrotham. I drive a 4 wheel drive so I am okay but those that don't were struggling in front of me. Going to be fun in the morning if that lot freezes over night.0

The Old Bill closed Bluebell Hill so that is part of the reason. I drove up Detling about an hour ago.moutuakilla said:

Was a crappy drive Sevenoaks to Herne though, very slow due to water on the road and quite heavy snow in your vision.0 -

Just drove from Manchester to Crowborough, East Sussex in 6.5 hours. Not as bad as expected0

Guess whose heating has packed in?

The Old Bill had closed the A 249 Maidstone Bound at the M2 roundabout when I joined the M2. The problem is a jackknifed lorry I think although I don't rubberneck so not 100% certain. There was definitely a stationary lorry at a funny angle though.moutuakilla said:
