Apologies to those who think it is perfectly acceptable for us to be very seriously concerned about Burnley.

If this is the level we aim for, we are out.

Well seeing that Burnley are a Premier League team we should be aiming for their level

Bury on the other hand are a different manner
  • If memory of Lee Clark and his Birmingham / Blackpool teams coming to the Valley serves me right...

We're in for a cracker of an absolute shit fest of a match next Saturday!!

He is not a very good manager.

He's not, but this is England and now he's on the merry-go-round he never has to get off - look at his career, almost constantly employed since he got on.

Sad but so very true. I have ranted and raved plenty about the old boys club of English management, and English managers in general. And you know that if he has a good run of form with Bury and Rafa's (FA Cup, UEFA Cup x2, La Liga x2 with Valencia, Champions League winner) Newcastle has a bad run of form that he'll be linked with the Newcastle job.

Off to a winning start and he brings Bury to us next Saturday with a 100% record.
