We will still be OKAY!

I am not going to make any judgement on next season whether it's a possible promotion, mid table or relegation until the August closes.
And yes my bet about wearing a burka if we go down still stands.

We are seven points from a relegation place in a terrible run of form. That is all.3
-
The fact you are talking about next season and we have already had to write this one off shows that we are not okay.
With the greatest respect, the idiocy of some of our fans is the greatest asset this club has outside of the academy.32 -
Obviously we have different ideas as to what 'okay' means.2

And Scunthorpe, Bradford and Sheffield United to play in March0

If we were having this discussion and we were in the Championship I would understand. But we are in League 1, and we have been told how we have one of the biggest budgets etc etc. Somebody somewhere has to start accepting the blame for what is going to be another season of failure, even if we do manage a top-half finish13

8 POINTS. AND STILL A MUCH BETTER GOAL DIFFERENCE.dickplumb said:We are seven points from a relegation place in a terrible run of form. That is all.
We have it in us to turn it round like earlier in the season.3 -
Why were the play offs a tall order ?AddickFC81 said:Despite the last couple of games I am still a million percent confident we will turn this run round and better performances will come again. We have been up and down all season. We have THIRTEEN games and it is so unlikely we won't get well clear. The play-offs were always a tall order. We don't have anywhere near enough for those sadly but more than enough to get clear of danger. I was a little more encouraged by the 2nd half today. But we will be fine come the end of the season.

When the current manager took over we were in touching distance with a game in hand.13 -
Sick of all the excuses for this useless shower - with these owners and gobshite KR in charge we're f***ed whether we stay up or not.
I haven't seen a worse side than Charlton recently. We're not a team...7 -

14th in League 1 is not "okay". It's nowhere near "okay". All the more so given the empty promises in the above statement.
What's in store next season is irrelevant. This season has been a disgrace, last season was a disgrace, everything they've done since they got here has been a disgrace.

You are so deluded. I suggest you remove the blinkers, take a look at the table and our results under Robinson and see what is obvious to most - that we are in a relegation battle.AddickFC81 said:Despite the last couple of games I am still a million percent confident we will turn this run round and better performances will come again. In my opinion we are relying on others performing even worse than us, because if it comes down to us having to up our game then it just isn't going to happen.2 -

I remember that march up the table we had fondly... There was a complete dearth of ideas on the pitch today except mavididi. It has been that way for quite some timeAddickFC81 said:

Okay? O fackin k?! I don't want us to be okay - I want us to be out of this tinpot league, out from under this egomanic and back to being the Charlton we all knew and loved.
Shove okay up Douchebag's arse.17 -
The fact that, at the end of February, our goal difference is being quoted as something we can be positive about is enlightening in itself. Do you really think being "okay" equates to being relaxed about being relegated because of our (plummeting) goal difference?
We're eight points away from being relegated to the lowest division in the club's League history. That will be reduced to six if Port Vale win their game in hand on Tuesday.
In my books "okay" is not worrying about whether Rochdale can take points off our League One relegation rivals. "Okay" is not playing all six games in February without a win. "Okay" is not playing three hours without scoring. "Okay" is not heading, unwaveringly towards the lowest League position the club has ever, humiliatingly, embarrassingly and shamefully finished in.
There's nothing "okay" about Charlton's season. We're a hopeless, broken basket-case of a club. A dried-up husk. A nothing. A complete wreck. Caused by willful negligence at the top and shameful incompetence on the pitch. We're now a long way past the point at which patience should be expected, confidence engendered or enthusiasm harnessed.
January was, as predicted, the point at which the owner signalled his greed and short-termism by flogging players who might have helped bring success and replacing them with ones we knew were not good enough.
February was, as predicted, the month in which we huffed, puffed and utterly failed to make forward progression.
And April will be the month that seals the club's fate. We'll finish in the lowest position we've ever finished. The only question mark is whether we're relegated too.
And that leaves one month, March, in which we can make a difference. So, good luck to everyone fighting for the future of the club overseas in March. You deserve all the credit that the club doesn't. Because you''re fighting to achieve success for Charlton, despite what the owners are very publicly ruining.
"Okay"? Don't make me laugh.36 -
We will STILL be ok.
And there's me thinking it was already shit.1 -
Get back under the bridge !!!0

Your fucking deluded8

I reckon we need another 12 points to guarantee safety.
Don't think we will be relegated but I would not be having much money on us being more than 5 points above the relegation zone this season.0 -

This season has been up and down. We have shown what we were capable of. Two wins against Bristol Rovers. A great result at Bolton. Even at the start of the season Walsall and Shrewsbury.Uboat said:

Yes we have had Rochdale home, Swindon, Peterboro and what happened in SE16.
It's been very up and down and 13 games is more than a quarter of the season. There will be a good run again followed by I am sure a dodgy one again.
But I do totally level that finishing mid table is not good enough for a club like us.0 -
I can't wait to rub it in at the end of the season. LOL!1
