Everyone else is getting in on the act so why not me?

Floyd are my favourite band and these are my 5 favourites:

1. Mother - The Wall
2. Nobody Home - The Wall
3. Seamus - Meddle - Just love that dog, always makes me laugh - after all this is the band that stopped London Aviation with an inflatable pig!
4. Echoes - Meddle - all 22 or so minutes of it - (Abbey Wood to Blackheath on the train)
5. Us & Them - Dark side - Lyrics that still strike a chord after 30 odd years.

I love every album from 1967 to 1977, i also like bits of The Wall...anything after that is not Pink Floyd as far as im concerned.

Not bad Rodex, only one Floyd song there. Perhaps we need a separate Barrett thread?

    Echoes (Meddle)
    Dogs (Animals)
    Us And Them (Dark Side)
    Comfortably Numb (The Wall)
The Final Cut (The Final Cut)

Pink Floyd finished in 1983 as far as I, and no doubt many others are concerned! What happened afterwards was a complete sham!

I found Floyd very late, at the travesty that was live8, they blew every other act off the stage by a country mile, altho that wasn't too hard.

Not a fan of all of their stuff but wish you were here is one of the best songs ever in my very humble opinion, also like money, brick in the wall, where next @Stig ?

    1. Comfy
    2. Wish you were here
    3. Brain Damage
    4. Echoes
    5. Pigs - Three Different Ones

That's the order right now but it will change tomorrow (apart from numbers 1 and 2 - Comfortably Numb is the greatest single track every laid down, and WYWH is probably the second best).
