    The comms team have been marking the 70th anniversary in every programme this season.

    The museum have been happy to provide Jimmy Seed's match diaries and other memorabilia to inform and illustrate the articles.

    Not heard about any special event being planned though.

    I was delighted to buy that framed picture of the players on the pitch with the cup for my late father, who was at both games with his brother, as he got older he became convinced the towel being carried was in fact a tesco carrier bag, always makes me smile.

    Any reason why it was so early in the year? I thought that traditionally the FA cup final was the last game of the season.
