    No Herman? No Hudson?

I'd have Mark Bright up front and Sam Bartram in goal.

    Jimmy Seed as manager.

Another team from a bit of an old codger perspective. Warman was a winger before moving to full back and I'm sure Bolland lined up as a striker although he was mainly a midfielder.

With the exception of Les Fell, whom I've had the pleasure of meeting a few times, I saw all the others play.

    Johns

    Sewell
    Hreidarsson
    McCleary
    Cripps

    Fell
    Lucas
    Dunphy
    Warman

    Holton
    Bolland
  • Sam Bartram would not count in my opinion as he only played as a 'guest' for Millwall during the war years.

Good call about Herman tho Henry. Forgot he played for Palace.

AFKA Bartram only has that name because Sam played for Millwall.

    Worrying but true!

    Lets do seperate teams.

    Millwall
    Johns

    Cripps McLeary Madden Thatcher

    Summers Brisley Dunphy Walker

    Bright Grant

Subs Roberts , Warman, Hazell, Towner, Bolland

    Palace

    Myrhe

    Humphrey C Whyte Hrediarssen Powell

    Redfearn Pardew Mortimer Salako

    Bright Flanagan

    Subs : Burns, Sorondo,Pitcher,Williams, D Whyte

Charlton / West Ham is better , Curbs only makes the bench. I can do this with various clubs. Chelsea is quite good, Spurs lacks a Keeper ( Guthrie was the only tenious choice I could remember). For info I post West Ham

    Illic

    Bowen Webster Bonds Powell

    Lee Bowyer Parker Konchesky

    Di Canio Hales

Subs Vaughan, Spector, Curbs,Robson, S Jones
