Pifalls:
Thomas (despite v encouraging pre-season) has been known to sulk when played on the right.
Too lightweight / inexperienced in the centre?
Gray - will he up the workrate to go with the nice little touches? Varney can't do all the work and be on the end of it.
Pros?
Thomas potentially gives flair missing on Semedo's side.
Basey balances Youga's over-exuberance
Young energetic side.
Not too many realistic options, are there?0 -

defensively, youga (and moo2) do not fill me with confidence.
i think the shelvey/racon centre midfeild partnership will need some help. when all said and done the fact is 1 is a 16 year old kid, and the other has virtually no experience in this league. would prefer semedo as the other c-mid but needs must at r-back, hence fayes inclusion (holand injured?).
play 1 out and out winger, thomas, switching wings, with the other 3 midfielders adjusting accordingly and varney running the channels between full back and c-half on the opposite side to thomas.0 -
