Who'll be our top scorer 08-09?

No, hopefully 08-09 won't be their total in May. Think we're all delighted with Varney's application and general play at the moment, but will he finish top scorer? Will Gray add some "devilment" to his hold-up play? Will Dicko expose opposing defences as well as he did Thomas's backside? Or will forgotten Toddy or McLeod emerge from the shadows? I still don't see anyone running away with it. If not, it'll need to be shared around with a few getting into double figures to make much impact. Having said that, Bristol City hardly had the teleprinter spelling their scoring feats in brackets!

Varney...

I have a suspicion that while Dickson will score goals that he's going to suffer a lot of niggling injuries.

I don't see Gray doing the business for us as far as scoring goals goes. Think we've asked him to play a different role.

I personally think Varney's going to bang them in this season.

It's hard to say, without knowing the impact of injuries or loss of form.
We might not have even signed him yet....!!

So Andy Hunt's finally had a nice long rest? Completely irrelevant but did anyone on here see his reserve outing when he came back?
