"Sleepless" Panned by the critics, but not for the first time I disagree with them. Jamie Foxx is solid and well supported by the excellent Michelle Monaghan who I think is a very talented but under rated modern day actress. The plot has a few twists and turns which is slightly let down by the fight scenes which make all the participants seem like they can take punch after punch on open shot gun wounds which is just a bit silly and very Hollywood-esque. Overall I enjoyed it so I'm going to go with 7/10.
"Colossal" Oh dear, film number two of this years viewings which I didnt watch all the way through. a Black "Comedy". Hmm I think the American/Canadian/Spanish film makers responsible ought to be taken to the trades description association for that comment alone. Bizzare film with odd dialogue and an even stranger performance from Ann Hathaway. I did watch 90 minutes (which I will never get back) but this was just an awful film in my opinion. 2/10

Got to disagree. Clichéd rubbish for me. Probably the worst thing Jamie Fox has done,
I found Prometheus a little slow but this is back to the format I like. Having said that, I am now going to watch Prometheus again tonight just to re-cap on what happened.
Enjoyed it to. I took my son to see it yesterday morning and it is perfect Saturday morning pictures fare for teenage boys*
Beware at the o2 the age policy for films. They are very strict. We were sold tickets but then the fella at the entrance demanded id, which my boy didn't have (he's 14) 15 minutes later we managed to blag it but it was touch and go.
Enjoyed 'Get Out', though the twist wasn't hard to see coming.
'Unfriended' on Netflix, entirely on a girl's computer screen. I found it bearable but I can see why others may not. Silly last couple of seconds though.
Sausage Party. Saw it at the cinema last year. Just seen it again on Sky. Brilliant. Should be compulsory viewing every month in all schools in the U.K. Particularly faith schools!
I tried to watch this the other day, turned off after 15-20 mins, is it actually worth sticking with? it was awful and i usually like Seth Rogan
watched it at the weekend. Very vulgar with more f & c words than I would have expected for a 15 rated film. I'm no prude but thought it a bit OTT. The premise of the film was ok but dragged on too much - should have been a 15/20 min "sketch" or short film ala Wallace & Gromitt. stuck it out for about 3/4 of an hour & then switched off.
Only decent bit was the Woody Allen take-off for the bagel.

I have to say Unfriended may be the worst film I've ever seen.
Jason Bourne - I enjoyed this addition to the Bourne series. The Deep Dream plot was a bit weak but that aside it is still a decent action movie.
Got any idea why the head of the CIA decided he needed to be on stage with the head of Deep Dream? What was that about?
Spoiler alert - I believe it was because he scheduled to speak alongside Riz Ahmed's character and also to make sure he wasn't going to to say anything to incriminate The CIA director because he helped him to succeed with Deep Dream.

Which begs the question, if the head of the CIA is running a super-shady deal with someone in the public eye (and saying out loud earlier in the film that they shouldn't be seen together), standing on a stage with him in public (the public has no reason whatsoever to associate the two men together) seems a bit counter productive. Especially as it wasn't his presence that stopped any incriminating statements, but the ludicrously cliched assassination plan!
Jason Bourne was a badly, badly, badly written movie, and I hope it hasn't killed one of my favourite franchises!

Haha fair enough!
State of Grace starring Gary Oldman and Ed Harris is worth a watch if you like bad films...

So bad its almost 'good'. Modern horror films are truly shite.
