Does anybody else think that it is strange that we 'lost out' on Green, Ashton, Mears, Bowyer, Gabbidon, Sheringham?

In my opinion I think he was supposed to go there last season but Pardew done so well the board couldnt sack him.

May have been said before but I'm bored

    I'm sure that you could list a whole string of players that any club has "missed out on" and then construct a conspiracy theory around it.

    We didnt miss out on Mears, West Ham signed him cos Luke Young has a dodgy ankle.

    Clutching at straws mate, West Ham are a more attractive proposition than us, plus they probably pay more.
