... people you work with who know absolutely nothing about football or what it means to support your team but think they are oh so clever coming out with something "funny" because they know you support Charlton.

How I haven't smacked anyone today is a miracle. But there's still time.

    One thing about being a Charlton supporter is that at work you stick out from the crowds of Chelsea and Man U fans.

    I have had queues of people at my desks with their sympathetic gormless faces wanting to know why we are now so shit. On a day when I would rather sit here sulking alone...................

    yeah, some nomark liverpool supporting mate of mine at work, (i say supporting, he asked me if he could get a ticket for the liverpool game the day before the game) and he's been to anfield twice... anyway, he pops up on msn this morning and starts saying "were you there last night" and I reply, "yes, i go to all home games as you know" so he says "whats happened then"

    i then decline to reply feeling that its a waste of time, effort and breath trying to even justify how i feel about my team to anyone else that the closest they get to "their club" is watching 20 minutes highlights on match of the day repeats.

    I can moan about my club to like minded charlton fans as much as i like, but when they get criticised by other teams fans, i get all defensive about them. can't help it.

    tell me about it......mind you the Hammers have kept pretty quiet after I reminded them about Chesterfield, the Yids haven't said to much....yet.....come on the Southend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Both our finance department and personnel department seemed to be having cold air coming out of their air con vents this morning.

    Left them to it for three hours and when I returned it was funny how none of them made any further remarks about Charlton.
