Not renewed yet. The club so far have done nothing to ignite any interest for next season

Only game I went to was this the Mk Dons game. Would normally not go to see franchise football but circumstances of course changed that. Then the game itself I am still angry and disappointed with to this day. Not for lack of effort, the players did at least try I thought, but the shear inability to match MK for quality and tactical nous. That for me underlined the decline we are still in the midst of. Don't know when I'll be back.

Renewed last season only because I was worried about losing my seat as a result of the £175 offer. No such concerns this year. My dad still wants to go, so I would imagine he'll renew and my two brothers and I will share one season ticket between us.

I'd like to say I'm boycotting on principal, and there is an element of that. But the main thing is that it's just so boring - most weeks I follow the other scores on my phone or chat to the bloke next to me whilst a terrible football match goes on in the background.

That is completely correct but it's also much more inconvenient logistically. It means, for me, leaving work earlier, arranging a sitter for my son, who would rather give away his PS4 than have to go to The Valley, it's a late night, by the time I get home, and in the winter it's cold and miserable before the game starts, never mind having to watch the $hit they have been serving up this season.

In fact, I think he MK Dons game was the only midweek one I am went to this season.

Haha, also very good points. It's quite convenient for me as I live near the ground so just stop off at the game on the way home from work.

Am probably a weirdo for liking the cold midweek games the most. There's something very 'Charlton' about sitting in the cold, layered up with coat/scarf etc. at The Valley - with a pie and a bovril moaning about being 1-0 down to Oxford. It has a bit of character about it that's missing on Saturdays maybe.

Did not renew last two seasons, and have moved to the coast. Sadly like a lot of posters on here who I respect, I can make all sorts of reasons, but just cannot enjoy the football being played\owners . Attended no more than a handful of games, no midweek, found it quite distressing to be honest. As my sons seem to be playing football again next season, think I will go and watch them for my 'football fix'. Intend going to see Hythe Town FC as well.
Like others I simply detest the situation.
I am sure I will be tempted, but will take a 'rain check'.

Foolishly renewed last season as I thought I would loose my seat. Now do not really care if I do. Will not renew until they go.

I have had three season tickets in north upper since it opened and had my first season ticket in 1980. My two kids don't want to go anymore unless there is a protest and my brother has not gone for two years. Last year I didn't renew until late August. Football has been a central part of my life for so long it's hard to turn my back on it. However the MK Dons game was a tipping point for me. I couldn't identify with any of the players, can't stand Tarby, hate the owner and Meire so thought why am I doing this? Why spend nearly £500 on going to the Valley when I could use it to pay for our family holiday. I've logged in here every day longing for some sign of hope that they might go or that they might invest in the team instead of flogging anyone like Lookman that might make a season ticket worthwhile. We've had a long decline over a decade with only the 2012 season and follow up season in the Championship really bucking the trend of shit football. Only the Belgians going will make me renew now.

Didn't renew last season but attended ten home games. If they are still here I won't be renewing next season or attending any home games. I will protest outside but not another penny. They are taking the piss out of us royally and anyone who can't see it is deluded. Time and again. Another player clear-out underway. Anyone who can be sold for decent money, will be sold. Late recruitment of lower cost, lower league replacements to front-up to another season of disappointment. Another big step-down in season ticket holders and yet more off-field shenanigans and more evidence of their conniving (plans to redevelop the car park for housing!). An empty stadium, zero atmosphere, more poor football and Robinson won't make November.

It seems to me that this club has virtually shut down. At the moment it's running on pilot light only.

My VG went last year - what a cynical way to extort fans' money when a billionaire rakes in the proceeds for himself. My s/t also went last year but I actually missed only two league games - I saw every other home game including friendlies and (silly) Cups. Not this year, while the army of occupation is still in town. 3 1-1 away draws as well ....

I'll be very picky about the games I attend, and the decisions may well have more to do with social reasons than anything else.

Oh, and I sponsored Paddy's home shirt for the last two years (£500 in 16/17, even after relegation). He really is a great guy - and only one disallowed goal against Millwall short of true immortality - and I promised him at the end-of-season dinner that I would renew. Not any more. I will ask him over the summer to name his favourite charity, and if he is still here on Sep 1 I will send the monkey to them instead.

Not sure where I'll go next season - maybe Dulwich Hamlet, until such time as FC Athletic of Charlton comes bobbin' along.

Caved in and bought a half season ticket last year. I have learned the error of my ways.
I may go to Dulwich Hamlet more now I have more time at weekends. I am monumentally unexcited by football at the moment though. At least you can have a laugh and a beer at Champion Hill.
