Oh you know Hollywood will turn it into Leicester needing a win against Everton to secure the title with Vardy scoring the winning goal.

Cant really end that part of the film with them all having a piss up round his house celebrating whilst another team play..

Signing for Arsenal .. the kiss of death for many strikers over the years .. he'll make pots of money but will be a failure, Wenger's style does not suit his methods one bit .. this move will spoil both Leicester's future plans and Vardy's career, though as I say he'll be right in the money .. good luck to him though for making the VERY best of his talents and belated rise to fame

My mate is an Arsenal ST holder and the general thoughts around him and his fellow ST holders are: he's had one good season (scored five or something the year before), he won't suit their style, he's not young, four years is madness. Basically they are fully expecting him to be another Franny Jeffers (so maybe we'll get him for a couple of mil in a few years time)

From Vardy's perspective: can't blame him really. Final pay check and he's clearly negotiated a decent length contract for his age. Next season would have always been a disappointment at Leicester compared to this one anyway, so he'll go out on a high, and LCFC get a 20x return on their investment for a ~30 year old player.

He may help Arsenal away at the big boys and in europe where they will play more on the counter attack. They are certainly capable of playing that way, even if they do it in a less direct fashion than Leicester. They've gotten away from it a bit over the years, partly because they haven't had a raw pace striker, but in the days of their most success under Wenger they had Henry and they utilized his pace well enough, not that I am suggesting Vardy is half the player Henry was but he's probably as quick.

Vardy would be mad not to make the move. His stock is as high as it will ever get and he doesn't have years of top salary already in the bank. He would be totally right to test himself at a big club and set himself up financially for life.

What's the rush? If he does well in the euros he will be paid even more to move.

If he does ok, the same move will still be on.

If he has a shocker, he can stay at Leicester and see how the team can play in the champions league.

Good move for Vardy. I suspect not a great move for Arsenal. A bit reminiscent of the Franny Jeffers move - obviously Vardy's a much better striker but the same logic was cited for that transfer. Agree with @Exiled_Addick, unless Arsenal change playing style I can't see him getting the space he relies on.

Mahrez is also being linked to arsenal. Vardy making a final decision this morning been offered a 4 yr deal and higher wages .

Will be turned into an outright attacking right winger by Wenger, but looked at as a goalscoring replacement for Walcott and Ox.

Good move for all, especially Leicester who are given even more time to replace one of their stars of last season.

Get what you're saying but to me it's a case of whether he values bank balance over actually playing football. Seen a few transfers in recent years where people have made a move they probably weren't good enough for and ended up wasting a couple of seasons of their career. Especially now he is in the England squad he probably wants to stay there. Doubt he's on peanuts at Leicester either to be honest.
