Surely someone has got something to moan about, haven't they?

Varney missed a sitter about 5 minutes from the end. It's not good enough!
Sack Pards, sack the Board! ;-p

I know you are only jesting and yes Luke will be disappointed but in my opinion the keeper did excellently in that he read it and was quickly off his line and got there before or at the same time as Luke.

But Len...if we were to always give credit where credit was due, this forum would be a very boring place! ;o)

Lets hope there's no moaning. We won 2-0 and we all know we can do better but we would have all taken that before hand.

By the way, that is the reason Holland won player of the year.We were a much more balanced team and that is no slight on young JJ.

couldn't agree more. still, someone will probably moan that he never got his shorts dirty enough for their liking.

I was actually a little worried about Holland when he was "tackled" by Monk - he immediately held his lower back and i was thinking "here we go again, out for 2-3 months"...

I know what you mean but he did go in well for the challenge. If you just read here you would believe he never made a tackle!!!

Wasn't even a booking apparently - not according to the player and their manager. It was late, but was just one of those tackles that happens in games from time to time. Looked nasty for Holland for a bit though - thought he'd done him a serious mischief.

we've had players sent off for the same or less. El Kak against WBA a couple of years back for example.

2nd yellow within minutes and off, he also defended very badly and was the reason why they lost the game.

Yeah I agree with that sentiment. I said to Ketman that the bloke looked like he was on a mission to get himself sent off. The tackle was a vicious one and one Martinez would have not got up from as a player, and looked like it could of seriously hurt Holland.

And fair play to Matt for trying to do the Powell at the end

At least you stayed to the final whistle. When the second goal went in and even just before that there were so many empty seats I thought I'd turned up at shithurst.

Oh and Holland attempted a Chris Powell stylee jump from the tunnel. I hear Chrissie is suing as it was his patented idea.
