He'll now be on his knees praying that we dont score anymore and that he'll finally get a predict right

(Saying that did he predict a 4-0 away win ahead of this fixture?)

Is that because you've heard through the club he wont be leaving or just a thought?

Ceballos scores one and sets up another. Looked head and shoulders our best player in pre-season so far. Glad STTV might be snapping him up.

    "Heart's not in it" apparently
Heart is overrated. I'd rather have mind and technical ability (I know you're being sarcastic here

It'd be one thing if he wasn't settled, but he's live in London for what, five years now?

I take it Dijksteel played at RB in this game? Has he played there since his U-21 debut?

First met Alex Willis when he was 4 and starting at primary school for the first time... I had to buddy up with him as a big scary 11 year old, haha!

Really hope he can push on and make an impact on the first team, would be awesome to see!

I'm 23 so he's got to be 16 or early 17 I would think. From what I've seen of him in the U23s he's a striker. Haven't had the chance to see him play in person so can't tell if he's particularly pacey, strong or anything else.

    Fantastic chance for him though!

Yes, he'll break Keith Peacock's outfield appearance record then go on to be a much loved coach and manager, with a stand named after him

Just been Googling and he looks a decent player. His name rings a bell now. Think he scored a fair few for the U-18s last year

looks like I went to the wrong game. At Welling its 2 defenders score (and old boys at that) , at GB its the strikers & midfielders, 2 being from the newboys & one from a returnee.

    Back from this.
Barnes took a bit of a knock (not a foul) and may be a worry.
Worth bearing in mind that Greenwich hardly troubled us but an enjoyable evening with @Paddy7 and seeing @cabbles there too.
Billy Clarke was thankfully a whole lot better than he was in Ireland, Mark Marshall too. Marshall's goal was a terrific team effort, Clarke played in Fairchild well and robbed the keeper for his goal, and the continuing to be impressive Cebellos scored with some intent.
No poor performances from any of the players Djiksteel playing at right back deserves praise for showing versitility, Crofts was at his efficient and unfussy best, Sarr had the sense to get it and give it, or defend it letting Konsa do the cerebral stuff at the back, Barnes continues to make good progress.
JFC was replaced quite early by RCC who played well, but using him is a bit of an enigmatic problem.
Of the subs it was interesting to see Blumberg. Touch of future captain material there in his organisational skills, if he can plat too (today there was no real pressure) he might turn out to be a find. Doughty is a genuine prospect.
A win on a pleasant summers evening brightens the mood, and reports from welling plus what I saw today eases some of the anxiety I had built up after Ireland. @Paddy7 reckons the Norwich and Ipswich games will be particularly interesting this year in terms of discovering where we're at, and I agree.
The rest of our division is preparing too, all having similar dreams, but it might be that with a couple or three of significant additions, and good luck with injuries we could be competitive. One hugely important factor is what on earth we would do without big Josh, his is a position that needs a plan even if that means committing Watt to that role. Bristol Rovers will be a strong test, that I am convinced of. We must win it.

We should sign the Greenwich keeper.

    His name is Ben Card
