I was listening to the "garage flower" album recently. The this is the one on there is odd, but strangely compelling. Slightly different line up back then, and very raw.
I don't mind them advertising in theory: the service has to be paid for somehow. But the choice of ads they pump in my direction is baffling, wasteful and extremely annoying. They know what I listen to better than my own best friends do. I'm a middle aged man, but Spotify seem to think I'm a teenage girl. I'd be hugely pissed off if I was one of their sponsors charging them to send me their "messages".

The man's a true genius and a sad loss to the world of music.
