Once the squirrel removes her hand from Robinson's bottom perhaps he'll then start talking for himself.

Come on give the man a break. We have won the first 2 games of the season oir last what 7 in total. He is working withing his confines and working well a dig was not needed

Not sure we'd still be in for him but Harry Forrester's been linked again.
I think that's more a case of "we have been interested in him in the past." Robinson said after the Norwich game that having seen Dijksteel at right back he didn't feel we need further cover there. I'm inclined to agree as we also have Barnes and Charles-Cook who can play there, and Konsa who played there last season. Think it's to the point where signing another player would hinder their progress.
Forrester isn't a full-back, you are possibly being confused with Lee Hodson who we were linked with who is predominatly a right-back (both play for Rangers).

Even so, I still think we lack cover at full-back. Our only options to cover Solly are youngsters, and we have insufficient cover at left-back until Page is back.
Yeah confused them sorry early morning posting.

Forrester looked decent when I've seen him. But are we really in need of another attacker?
We've got one. Reeco, Reeco, Reeco!

But the whingers are knocking him on a daily basis on CL, Harry Gregory was giving the other side of the ledger - a majority view IMO.

I rarely make comments anymore but some on here are a bit too obsessed with the "cause", I would dearly love to see the club change hands but the Manager is now doing a good job here and is trying desperately hard to win over the fans.
Give him a break for fucks sake...

Come on, are you mad? what on earth is the fun in that?

Harry Forrester is a winger, he'd play one of the three behind the striker. Be instead of us signing Stewart for example. Would be good in League One.
He'd be a good swap for Watt.
I'm sure Tony would love to play for his home-town club.
Coincidence that he was born in Milton Keynes ?
Watt? Pretty sure he's Scottish... ;-)
    he meant Harry Forrester

Agreed but Harrys got a point. Things are looking positive so be nice to get behind him rather than giving him unnecessary stick!

I'll wait until the end of the transfer window thanks before deciding whether things are positive. If there are no sales I will agree with you. However if Douchbag decides to cash in on some of our talented youngsters, things will not look so rosy.

That would be fair if we agree not to slag him off until the end of the season as well.

Like who? Other than Konsa I can't see any others attracting serious interest. Aribo hasn't done enough.

We'd still have 4 centre backs if Konsa went. I'd ideally like 5 but we'd still have 2 players per position.

Do you really want Sarr starting in the league as soon as Bauer or Peace get injured/suspended?

I'd be amazed if he didn't sign a centre back to replace Konsa if he goes. Sarr would cost us too many points and Lennon is still injured

That still wouldn't be Robinson's fault so he doesn't deserve stick for anything and everything he says

With Lennon still being injured Konsa is our next choice if we pick up an injury.
Sell him now and Sarr is next in line.
I think Konsa should stay as he can cover several positions

I think we all want him to stay but we all know RD could cash in.

I agree Sarr should be 4th choice. If Konsa goes we would need a quality replacement

Konsa is of course the obvious one. But I don't share your enthusiasm about Sarr stepping up and replacing him.

And don't underestimate how the big clubs will already be aware of those coming through the youth ranks. Mate of mine does some scouting for Norwich on a part time basis and they were already well aware of Dijkstel before we played them in a friendly.

He was linked with premier league clubs in January so no surprise clubs are aware of him. I highly doubt anyone would sign him yet, he needs to break through here first
  • The owner is bad for the club if he sells Konsa that is a poor decision but I believe it is Rolands decision not Robinson's.

Robinson and the team are doing well taking the momentum from the end of last season into this. I feel he has done well in the transfer window under the restrictions faced hope it carries on.

The first manager I have felt any affinity for since SCP. He. Therefore has my support.

support the team not the regime. COYR

Having seen him play I think Sarr has improved out of all recognition and his long passes are superb and will split defences. He is streets ahead of Lennon.
  • Being third choice centre back at a league one club won't command the sort of fee Duchatelet is looking for. Selling him now really doesn't make much sense.

Ezri is certainly good enough to make the breakthrough and once he's done that his value will rocket. At some point during this season he will get his chance and if he can get 15 or so games under his belt I think we might see some serious interest during the summer.

Alternatively. RD will grab whatever he can as soon as he can because he wants out. Have Everton really tabled a £3.5 million bid ?

It may be of benefit that Ezri appears to be 3rd choice at the moment, less playing time, less interest

wouldn't be surprised if Robinson is doing this on purpose. Regardless, Pearce and Bauer are a decent partnership.

Pearce and Bauer are better L1 defenders. When the opposition start lumping balls into the box at their target man striker, they're much better at the aerial and physical stuff than Konsa at the moment (he's still young and probably needs to fill out a bit)
