    Today will pan out as follows:

    - 9am ... 5pm: Absolutely nothing will happen, barely any news
    - 5pm: We'll suddenly get a tweet from the likes of Cawley saying there could be something happening
    - 5:10 - 10pm: the F5 button on 1,000 Charlton keyboards need replacing after being hammered to oblivion
    - 10:05pm: Cawley says that the deal has fallen through
    - 11:05pm: Karl Robinson rolls out his end of Window rant!!

    Given that nobody in their right mind signs a player without a full medical and seeing as there have been no leaks to the press about in-comings, I think its highly likely we will be left short up front again. Its a pity as we do have the makings of a side for the first time in Duchatelet's ownership that looks competitive. He still needs to fork off btw.

    Premier League youngsters, Championship reserves, smaller League 1 clubs, League 2, Scotland, abroad, free agents? Must be someone out there more proven than RHF that isn't overpriced? This isn't like the years under Parkinson where the most we could afford was a nominal fee.

    I get why someone like Grigg isn't available, but that was always likely to be the case.
    Yes I know what you mean. It's the foreign player option that seems to have gone out of the window, oddly. But maybe our scouting network isn't geared up to recruit overseas, as Dreisen has been ditched (thank God!).
