    I think technically if you buy a low price ticket in advance you're supposed to go on the train that you booked. But I've missed a train before and went on the next one without any difficulty.

    Have just tried to book 2 seats on the valley away coach for the game on Saturday and it says unable to fulfill request. Does this mean that the coach is sold out?? Do they only run one coach ?? Do you think I should ring the ticket office in the morning

    The route they take for games and the volume of pick ups probably means they are leaving tonight.

    Meant to be going holiday on the Sunday out to Turkey for a family wedding. Driving up on the Saturday to Glasgow as we all the family are flying out from there. Do I stop off along the way to watch the mighty Addicks at Oldham? Proper tempted to be fair. My Dad on the other hand is a grumpy old git and will probably want to just get up to Glasgow lol. What's Oldham like as an away day chaps?

    Go to Oldham, leave the family in Manchester, then carry on from there.

    You'll be glad of the rest, although not so sure of attending the game.

    Aside from that, Oldham is a toilet.
