Unusual surname in that it has more vowels than consonants.
How many Charlton players past or present can you think of with this feature in their surname?
There are at least 6 that I can think of, not including Dodoo.
Over to you...

Oostergaard is a draw - providing its spelt like that. If not, can I add another O at the start ?2

I don't think you can count draws. Looking at the responses already, there's clearly quite a few where the vowels outnumber the consonants!Callumcafc said:Reeves is another draw. And Pearce. And Page. And Amos.
I racked my brains for a while to get six, then you lot came up with 13 already!0 -

If you go back to the origins of the name you're on to a winner.
Powell is a contraction of the Welsh name, ap Hywel.
The letters y and w can be vowels in the Welsh language.
Like Scottish 'Mac', ap means 'son of' .....so 'ap Hywel' means 'son of Hywel'.
And there was me thinking Powell meant 'Son of Curbs'.
