I didn't know Richard through the club - but I knew him reasonably well. When I saw him on Thursday he was his usual jovial self. To say I am shocked and saddened by this news is an understatement.
I know he was very much respected by many inside and outside of the club - his loyalty to the club he helped bring back to the valley never diminished.3 -

I used to work for his company in Greenwich High Road and I remember his blue roller. He was a gent. Very helpful.
