How is this man so unfit... 30 mins! seriously.2 -
Nah it's Fredward Yao the first of his name, breaker of defences and sole scorer of the triallists.eaststandmike said:
You are not getting this Henry are you, it is Yaosey!!!Henry Irving said:Marshall was replaced on the hour mark and the Addicks made it 3-0 five minutes later when Freddy Yao picked out the bottom corner from just inside the box and that is how the scoring stayed.
No mention of the other trialists only Freddy Yao3 -

Maybe he was always going to play 30 minutes.Dazzler21 said:Sounds like Reeves is struggling to add anything...

Seeing as every time he's played longer, he's ended up injured...0 -
Blimey Reeves (sy) has aged! Is this what playing for the circus does for you!0

Uh oh, someone said Roger Johnson.

I've only seen him play well at the valley once - that game against Naby BeckenbauerSDAddick said:
On his day Miller was an absolute pain to play against. He bullied many a tougher center back than Sarr.ForeverAddickted said:
Sounds about right... For Sarr to play well the other day he had to be released from Miller's pocket somehow after being in there since that Huddersfield gamedickplumb said:According to elsewhere Ishmael Miller is training with us.
Think having him training with us is good. If he's fit and motivated he could really do a job at this level. Plus, having him on trial means we get a chance to evaluate him and decide if he's worth a contract. As mentioned earlier, an absolute handful on his day. Big and strong and quick (at least he used to be, don't know how much of his pace has gone).
Regarding what happens with Dodoo, he fights for his place on the bench. Josh will not play every game between now and January and it'd be good for Dodoo to have some competition.0 -
The official attendance was 6870. A club spokesman said " all our U23 games & other friendlies are free to season ticket holders & I was assured by Ms Meire that they all tuned up for this game, just like they do for League matches"T.C.E said:Was there many there?

I'm pretty sure there was talk of our interest in Ishmael Miller a few years back when Chris Powell was in charge. I'm deeply sceptical of players who haven't had first team football for a season or more. We have punted on turkeys so many times before...1

You can't ban a real Charlton fan.harveys_gardener said:BCD friendly. Henry is museum curator, cardigan fashion model, and now locksmith.
Still 1- 1, loads of subs meaning game is very fragmented. The trailist up front looked OK but now gone off. The two defenders didn't look any better than we have. Keeper very tall and someone said Russian.
If so, would be grateful of two copies.0 -
Game today with two Charlton sides playing each other.
No idea on line ups but possibly a trialist or two on show.

I'm not sure I understand what it means to "periodise the week" and I think the guy was playing up in response to the recent comments about the "Marshy"s and "Reevesy"s, but the statement that Reeves did 8.7 km in 50 mins is impressive and I can't help liking KR's enthusiasm. It is, after all, part of his job to spread positive thinking.ross1 said:3 -
That pic certainly looks less unflattering.ross1 said:0 -
Any update on Harry Lennon's injury?0

I assume he means they trained and treated the week exactly as if they had a normal league match yesterday.MountsfieldPark said:

8.7km is over nine minute mile pace. I could do that at 63 with dodgy hammies. KR must have low standards or as a porkster never ran faster himself.MountsfieldPark said:
