Escape the Room

Looking to do a team night out for 10'ish work people that has an activity to start the night.
Any particular Central London based one's that you have done - are they good value for money, entertainment etc ?

Not been myself, but a few colleagues did it a couple of months back.
It was in East London somewhere, not too far from the City (near Limehouse I think).
They said it was excellent and really good fun.0 -

I'm doing one in Bristol on Saturday, no idea what to expect. Looking forward to the beers afterwards though.0

I'd swerve the room and go straight to the beers, why waste an hours drinking time?SWEnglandAddick said:I'm doing one in Bristol on Saturday, no idea what to expect. Looking forward to the beers afterwards though.

We done this one last year. It was really good and was by far the best one we've done. We made it out with a couple of minutes to spare.ricky_otto said:http://www.time-run.com
Did this last year (10 of us) was pretty good and reasonably priced.
We went to another one near Euston Station called Hint Hunt. It wasn't as good as Time Run but it was still good.
Now we've done three of these now with the same group of friends. All 5 of them were bloody brilliant at it. Where as I, if I'm totally honest, didn't have a clue what was going on most of the time. They're all running about looking for clues, shouting at each other, all too much for me. I'm a reasonably intelligent bloke but my brain doesn't work in a way to deal with cryptic clues and that sort of thing. Even with the hints, I was struggling. If you haven't done one before, you'll really enjoy it I think.
Apparently the one in Gravesend is good.
The wife done one in Liverpool a couple of weekend ago for a hen do and she said that was one of the best she's done.2 -
Eight of us went to the one in Gravesend, they have a few different rooms. Was a lot of fun, we are going back to do a different room In a couple of weeks.0

Why go all the way to Gravesend with your workmates when you can do it yourself right now without the distraction of having to socialise?

I've done about 10 different ones now, and haven't come across a bad one tbh0

I went to a work one in Hamburg a few months ago in their red light district, weirdest 'team bonding' thing I have ever been on.
We have one next month - Crystal Maze, somewhere in North London.0 -

I'll probably be a useless mess.

And I still don't have the foggiest of what is going on and the next time they want to go, I think I'll hold the coats in the nearest pub!
