FA Cup 1st round draw 17/18 (Truro at Home - SUNDAY 5th Nov 2pm)

Dartford at the Valley - would be a decent crowd (relatively speaking considering recent FA Cup attendances)1
-
Shrewsbury at home would be ideal.0
-
Boreham Wood away would be fun, if risky.0

I'm all for giantkillings....just not against us !ForeverAddickted said:If I had to choose between losing against a Non-League team or getting promotion I'd choose the latter all day long.
Non-League teams are a part of what makes the English Football System so great and a cup run for any team like what Lincoln / Sutton had will help them immensely to survive for a good few more years to come.
As it is I think if a Non-League gets a draw against us they dont stand a chance... Our second string side involving players like Lapslie and Maloney played against a strong Crawley team and won, really wouldnt see a Northwich repeat.1 -
Can I have Luxembourg away please !
What time is the draw?0 -

We play AFC Wimbledon and Shrewsbury before and after the cup date. There is always one match up of successive games and we haven't had that for a long time.0

A non-league team away would be interesting but there may be a problem getting in, given the small capacity of some grounds. A 'new ground' would be good, especially a League 2 one. It's always boring to get a team from your own division0

A beautiful stretch of track from Lancaster, then you hit Barrow. It almost makes Hartlepool look attractive.ken_shabby said:I take it you lot have never been to Barrow for football. Horrible place.

Fancy Dartford at the Valley. If we get Heybridge, they'll have to change the venue unless their gyound is radically different from last time O was there.0

Still very much a traditionalist and class FA Cup 1st and 3rd round day as one of the most important day in the football calendar.
Hoping for a good non league away match. I just hope it isn't another league one team.1 -
If it’s either Oxford or Huddersfield I’ll cheer them on, just for the bloody change.1
