Thanks Red. I'm seeing a lot of people on twitter and social media in general saying lots of things but who knows if they are just repeating what they've read or actually do have credible sources. Well it wasn’t too long ago that the AFC bid didn’t have a pot to piss in. Andrew Muir would change that but would he really be willing to bank roll a five year plan to get Charlton back in the premier league ?
That would realistically cost £50 million at least plus cost of buying the club. Probably quite a bit more. If it’s AFC then I hope there are several other big investors involved and I don’t mean banks.1 -

Henry calls it right. The scant bit of gossip I heard today suggests things are bubbling under, but timescale simply can't be assumed or predicted, and Duchatelet's capricious nature could still scupper everything.10

there is something happening and the silence from the club is relavant. Its not going at the pace we would all like i.e. instant but I am certain from speaking to a number of people that this is neither a rumour by some internet nobody or a ploy to prop up flagging fanzine sales.
It may yet change course or take longer than we hope but it is not a non story and the notion that they are here for the long run is n9t true.6 -
