'We thought we were good,
But we were sh*t, oh so sh*t'
To be fair when in Scotland (was it Aberdeen he played for?) he was looking good & helped them reach the final & I think win the Cup winners cup.
Guess he was another victim of Charltonization.

I don't remember too much about the crowd other than it certainly wasn't as big as some of the other finals and me, my brother and a few mates were there.ricky_otto said:@Airman Brown or anybody, do you know how many we took to Wembley for the 1987 Full Members cup final? The "big" story in the build up to the match was whether Mark Stuart would be fit as I think he'd been suffering from measles (or it may have been some other illness ... it was a long time ago!).
Dundee Utd rather than Aberdeen mate. Also, Man Utd paid £175k to sign him from Bristol City. And, Dundee United were Runners up in the UEFA Cup final.charltonbob said:

Other than that, you weren’t far wrong
In your defence, you thought it was Aberdeen, and they did win the cup winners cup in 1983 - just not with Ralph Milne!0 -
