Was it a penalty?

Clumsy but Kashi definitely clipped him. I think it was a penalty.
  • The confusion here proves that video calls won’t be the definite solution because we have fans here seeing it differently .

  • To me the angle he comes in at if he’d played the ball it would more than likely have gone towards the Jimmy South Stand .
In that pic he deffo makes contact with the player but has he contacted the ball first .
Not 100% clear but I think a penalty was the right decision

Contact does NOT make it a penalty. If there's doubt, then a pen shouldn't be given.
Yellow for the dive, despite the minor contact.

Seen it again now, still think it was a penalty.

If it was up the other end and we didn’t get it, we would be up in arms.
  • Very soft. It appears to me that Kashi actually gets his foot in front to toepoke the ball away before his knee makes a slight contact from the side, then the player throws his leg back to fall down.

Don't think there was enough contact to actually force him down, now from the angle it could be classed as clumsy and definitely, a foul but it's harsh, Kashi makes slight contact on the ball first and the player could have played on.

As people have already said - The biggest frustration is why Kashi feels the need to get involved...

With Sarr running back towards the player it looks clear as though he'll be able to get to the ball himself

Nothing more than a little mistimed attempt - their guy didn't just make a meal of it, more like a bloody feast. Those of us of a 'certain age' must feel our toes curling every time we see one of these so-called 'fouls' - believe me; it will happen again.

Strange that when footballers fall they throw their hands up in the air whereas most people would put their hands down to break the fall.

Also they always seem to know where the ref is and immediately look towards them.

When I say footballers I really mean cheats.

Looked like contact and the player made the most of it to make sure the officials saw it

The West Stand lino gave it- waved his flag quite briskly and put it across his chest, then the ref blew and pointed. The ref seemed to make no decision until he saw the lino flagging - one of several poor decisions by the lino too.

  • Watching MOTD last night, there were some worse decisions in the PL...

The penalty against Palace was much more of a dive then our one
Arsenal's first goal against Spurs came from an incorrect freekick and was off side
The first goal by Bournemouth against Huddersfield had a blatant foul (yellow card offence) in the lead up to the corner, while the second was of side

It absolutely, definitely, 100%, no doubt about it, might have been a penalty.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter whether it was or not, the referee gave it and because we had wasted so many chances in the game, the penalty counted. How long have we got to wait before we take control of the game and make it count?

    Get rid of Kashi.

If you say that again I will find you.

I am a man with a very specific set of skills.

... None of them are related to finding people. Or violence. Most of them have to do with literature and writing really. Dogs seem to like me, if that's a skill. Lengthy internet rants. Rubbish jokes. That's about it.

Rule of thumb is normally, that if he's a foreign player it's probably a dive and he is a cheat.

If he's British player then it's clever play from the forward.

Seriously, I don't think there was any reason to make that tackle in the first place, and Kashi provided the player an opportunity to dramatically tumble.

And they had to defend that corner with ten men as the injured player was off the pitch. So the offending team get the advantage. Bizarre.

yes, it was stupid of Kashi, the attacker had no other option than to put it out wide at that point.

We sit in the covered end so couldn't tell if there was any contact, but even from that far way you see the MK Dons player threw himself to the ground.

Having said that, Kashi deserves a slap for even thinking about making a tackle there.
