Good to meet you too @killerandflashkillerandflash said:Popped in early and had to leave by 6, but nice to shake Keith Peacock's hand! Oh and meet Henry
Very impressed with the museum, a really professional job by all concerned1 -
Great evening, - big thanks to all at the museum1
-
Well done all involved in the museum and tonight’s event. Brought a bit of the old spark back.
Left @Curb_It @AFKABartram @Tavern and @Arsenetatters in the oak on the 3rd ‘one for the road’
Gutted can’t be there Saturday but pleased I made it tonight. Can’t wait to visit when less busy to read EVERYTHING!

good evening, well done and thanks to all involved. Left as Daisy turned up. Can't believe she had the temerity to turn up, even if invited. It was our night. Seeing her face took the gloss off it for me.5

@PaddyP17 i hope you get your drinking talents from yourself motherseth plum said:Huge thanks to all those who organised it.
I am not a great drinker at the best of times, but even worse on an empty stomach.
Made it home but squiff tipsy or whatever it is called.
Great to meed so many there, so many who have our great club coursing through their veins.
Carl Leaburn turned up so that was excellent.2 -
I hope you haven't passed down your writing talents!AFKABartram said:

But yeah, no, I know. He's still pissed lol - either that or he really really puts it on - thankfully I can just drink regardless of pedigree5 -
Had a cracking evening in the museum and the Oak tonight with proper Charlton fans. Was great hearing many people I respect matchday"s experience from that day and proud to stand, drink and chat with you all.
When the draw pullers yesterday went Tottenham at home to AFC Wimbledon my immediate reaction was "poxy club, f***ing club"
Tonight is a different outlook. F**k me, it's an emotional draw. 'Being Charlton' is massive to so many of us. I hope that never changes.
Up the Addicks
Charlton are back, Allo Allo18 -
Agreed. Lovely venue, wish I could have got there earlier but only one place to be today at whatever time - our home.6
-
The event at the CAFC Museum was 'Proper Charlton'; supporter-arranged and enjoyed by those fortunate to be there. It was a splendid evening.6

Another case of squirrel face antagonising the supporters. A disgusting individual.LargeAddick said:good evening, well done and thanks to all involved. Left as Daisy turned up. Did anyone confront her?1

At least that's not Charlton's nil.Henry Irving said:Thanks to everyone who came along.
We had a great evening, raised a few bob but most importantly marked an important anniversary.
Special thanks to this lifer who started the evening by donating these.
Kids, ask your parents.2 -
I'd hope not, we shouldn't sully the Museum by lowering ourselves to her level.SoundAsa£ said:Did anyone confront her?

Well worth the round trip from Broadstairs. First time at the museum and really impressed. Well done to all that run the museum and those that organised last night's event (if different).
Glad that I was watching one of the excellent videos when squirrel-face made her entry.
The Belgians may not give a toss about our past but if we don't have and care about our history then we don't have anything.3 -
Thanks all for the evening it was well organised and worth attending. What were the winning raffle numbers by the way?0
-
There were 4 prizes unclaimed , the winning tickets are attached to the items. We will be contacting the winners on Saturday when we are back in the museum so if you left early don't give up hope just yet.1

Edit; glad it went well and everyone had a good time despite Daisy putting in an appearance. Well done to the Trustees, organisers and sponsors.1 -

It was a great event. Thanks to all for their hard work in staging it. We have the best club museum in the country, and probably the only free one too. Am delighted I left before you-know-who arrived!5

I was chatting to @SE7toSG3 by the door last night when @JamesSeed arrived. As he signed in, he mentioned that the last time he'd had to sign in, the next person to arrive had been Roland himself.
And the next person through the door and signing in was ... KM.
Can we get another signing in book ready for the new owners?

Great to meet @JamesSeed (a treasure trove) @addicktedoldgit and all the others.
My claim to shame is that I was talking to Tom Rubashow and all of a sudden Katrien appeared smiling beside him. She clearly recognised me as I did her, but Tom quickly said we were talking about Karl Robinson. I wasn't prepared to be either rude or inquisitive (caught by surprise anyway) so we had a little to and fro regarding Karl and I extricated myself.2 -
A wonderful evening which did full justice to the momentous occasion it commemorated. The Museum's unsung heroes who have created this magnificent tribute to our heritage have put in a prodigious amount of care, thought and effort. The guys never rest on their laurels, however, which is why the Museum has gone from strength to strength from the moment it opened. The quality and volume of donated items, often cherished family mementos, is perfect proof of the trust and esteem in which this Addicks shrine is deservedly held. Please continue to support with pride our marvellous Museum.

I won in the raffle and it was delivered to me in the Oak. Such service! Thank you. Well organized event guys.
Great night, rounded off with too many in the Oak with good old mates that I don't see enough of.
No one confronted KM I'm sure. In my view, it wouldn't have been appropriate on such an occasion.
Feel crap today mind.6 -

Terrific evening and not every night you get to shake hands with one of your heroes!
First visit to the museum - it's tremendous and a credit all those who have worked so hard to create such an engaging environment. Surrounded by such a varied and nostalgic collection of all things Charlton, it was the perfect place to celebrate 25 years. It was also great to talk to so many people who help make our club so special - proper Charlton!
If you've not visited it really is worth a visit. I'll be back in the new year for another pre-match browse.8 -
I think Keith is wearing the tie from his benefit year?0
