Dear old Daisy today

Don't forget that "the protests focused not only on man or the woman, but also on the country". The boos were clearly part of a nationalist conspiracy against Belgium organised by Brexiters, including the large numbers of fans who voted remain.Missed It said:She must have given PR Tom the slip. Maybe he's the one locked in the broom cupboard now after her daring escape?
In the narrative she has constructed in her head she walked out on that pitch to stand up to sexist, ignorant bullies. Which, when viewed in the certain sort of one-eyed logic she is applying, has the appearance of truth to her and her apologist friends. In a way, I admire her astonishing brass neck. It's arrogance and self-importance of quite staggering proportions.11 -
I jokingly said to you that with the larger than usual crowd she would say to Roland, I think I've turned this around, don't sell.TelMc32 said:From the North Upper, it looked like her and Bernie were jumping up and down before the game like giggling schoolgirls. Added a sour note that she felt she needed to be involved in history at half time. Glad that they rushed through her intro, sounded a little muffled too compared to calling out the players names (although I thought the guy with the mike was a bit disrespectful to Jimmy Giles) and she didn’t say anything.

It was the ridiulous high heels on the pitch that got to me.
Paddy Powell would have never allowed those stilettos on his pitch.4 -

Yes, I noticed them. I must confess to not quite realising it was Katrien at first as she was, how shall we say, rather fetching in the long stilettos and short skirt. Looks like she’s lost weight and glammed up. My carnal thoughts very quickly turned to hoping the stilettos would get stuck in the pitch and she’d fall over. She got told in no uncertain terms to get out of the legends’ team photo.Addickted said:It was the ridiulous high heels on the pitch that got to me.

A true legend; and I do mean Jim Melrose0

Purely out of morbid interest, and of course understood on the basis of a very low base, is she actually getting better at her job? Ok, she's been told to shut up which has got rid of 90% of the visible problems. Just wondered about the day to day running0

I haven't the first idea beyond negotiate very ludicrous contracts for average players. What is she supposed to do?Airman Brown said:

Well, surprise, surprise ! Daisy has finally realised she is NOT the main attraction at our club !Fanny Fanackapan said:
Me too, golfie.golfaddick said:I didn't realise she was out there. Saw the players etc but very glad to be completely oblivious to it.
Too busy catching up with your bruv !
But no doubt she & I will clock each other tomorrow night ......and turn away immediately.
REALLY hope she isn't wearing the same dress though.
That would be SO embarrassing for her !
Tonight we were privileged to enjoy a brilliant evening courtesy of CACT with ex players and managers deservedly centre stage.
Maybe Daisy realised she couldn't compete with our heroes so decided to stay home & wash her hair.....as did Tone & Dave.
You really missed a great one, guys but hey, there'll be other opportunities .....like POTY ?20 -
I think @McBobbin might have a point. Does @McBobbin have to imagine she does something, @Airman Brown? If she does nothing and is just a sinecure, her nil contribution is an improvement on her previous (and unquestionable) negative contribution, you could argue.Airman Brown said:

I met him properly for the first time at the Museum's do on the 5th. He's charming and you can feel his love for the club oozing out of every pore. It will be a very sad day indeed when he shuffles of this mortal coil. May that day be a long time coming.Simonsen said:

On my son's first ever Charlton match, we saw Keith outside, I mentioned it was my sons first match and he was more than happy to stop and have a picture with us both.AddicksAddict said:

Someone was telling me on Saturday night that some of the players had trouble getting an invite from the club and I think Jim Melrose was one of them. Don't know if it's true of course, but it's perfectly plausible.mascot88 said:

I hope they paid all Clive Mendonca's travel expenses.

Charlton fans are out of order, our humble CEO simply strode onto her pitch to rightfully join in with her clubs celebration and was bood by the great unwashed.
They quickly turned nasty as they shouted 'kill er, kill er' whilst a wild eyed, bearded man with a history of using his firearm inside the ground was paraded about. It was a sad moment in what was supposed to be her day, I hope your all happy with yourselves.22 -
Talking of Killer, anyone think there's a striking resemblance to the old lag who's just turned up in Eastenders
