Having just turned 60 myself I can confirm 57 is far too young to be taken from us. RIP Craig and my thoughts go out to all your family in these very sad times.
  • Really sad, like others have said no age at all. RIP

I remember running into Craig at Charing Cross station on the morning of the play-off final against Sunderland. In his usual polite manner he said "Are you looking forward to it?"
    "For weeks" I replied
    "enjoy the day"
"I don't want to enjoy it, I want to bloody win it"
Craig look thoughtful for a second and said "You're right. Let's bloody win it"

    RIP Craig

RIP I was fortunate enough to meet him on several occasions, genuinely nice man and CAFC through & through, far to young.

I was at the same school as Craig but he was a few years above so I never spoke to him. Saw him again from time to time at Selhurst and the Valley. Such sad news.

My heart goes out to his son. I lost my Mum at 63 and I thought that was way too early. 57 - way way too young.

    RIP Craig

Didn't know him personally myself but he was a Charlton 'name' and from what I have read here and elsewhere he was a true, genuine Charlton fan who also served others.

RIP and condolences to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear this - watched many games with Craig in the Selhurst days, always good company, in fact one of life’s gentlemen.

RIP Craig, as proper Charlton as it gets.
