Leeds' New Badge

Without trying to go against the grain intentionally - I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as people are making out.
No it's not great, but not worthy of some of the headlines it's getting. Some that are worse off the top of my head:
- Bournemouth - some bloke with long hair. Looks like it should be on a Head & Shoulders bottle.
- Burton - Fat bloke kicking a football
- Barnsley (1990s) - a grinning bulldog carrying a football
- Shrewsbury - Looks like the lion from the Wizard of Oz3 -
That is TERRIBLE!

Is it meant to portray a mindless thug or players running around like headless chickens?
Whatever, I like it.

Not far off their 75,000 target.0 -
Angus Kinnear wouldn’t be responsible for this being so new to the Club. Good bloke and a good mate of mine. Was glad to get away from West Ham, but his choice of club was a surprise.0

Danny Baker nailed it on Leeds new badge...
"It seems Leeds United's new club badge has sadly been abandoned. Designed to commemorate the knife to the heart that was Millwall's 94th minute winner at Elland Road on Saturday, it has apparently gone down badly with some home fans..."
and has been met with predictably fucktarded hostility by northern knuckle draggers' illiteracy and incomprehension ROFLMAO
that sir, takes the biscuit, congratulationsNug said:Charlton's New Badge
does anyone on here have the kit to print some up large? we can then "consult" on that over the coming weeks, 10,000 views no problem (cough)2 -
Haha...I've seen this fella a few times round where I live in Wood Green. He'd be well happy with that mock up.Atletico Addick said:1 -

Just seen this stat on twitter, if its true that is fantastic
Leeds United have played 4,508 games in their history.
They've named an academy player in 4,504 of them - the last time they failed to do so was a Johnstone's Paint Trophy fixture in 2009.
👏

Would they really have had an academy way back in the beginning or even its equivalent ? Sounds like one of those Yorkshire folk stories they’re so fond of to me.paulie8290 said:Just seen this stat on twitter, if its true that is fantastic

Sounds great P but I'd love to k ow what an academy player was classed as pre 1970.0

Did they have academies in the early 1900s? I thought they were relatively new to professional football?paulie8290 said:Just seen this stat on twitter, if its true that is fantastic

from Wikipedia:
Out of contract, he finally left Elland Road in 1982 in a £100,000 move to Charlton Athletic.0
