I honestly thought that Varney was going to see red for that dust up in the centre circle today. It looked to me as if he jumped up and kicked the fella. Did anyone else have a clearer view?

Yes saw it and surprised he only got yellow. Did not see what led up to itm but was told the Wednesday player caught him. After Pards comments re the ref last week am surprised he did not slate the ref for not sending off varney
  • Definitely should have been a red, one for the tackle, one for the afters.

Shame as we was our best striker again by a street.

Should have gone. Was really stupid on his part and hopefully will have learnt.

I didn't see this close up but actually thought at the time he was moving to help the guy, so if he did clearly kick the guy when he was down he was very lucky not to walk.
  • Felt sure both players were going to walk, especially after the reaction of both sets of players,
