If it is a done deal it's a shame it's been completed a week after the deadline

No way am I going to complain about that in the great scheme of things!

Okay everyone, back to work. Sounds like the announcement won't be today.
  • Trying to snowboard in the alps but keep stopping to refresh. I can smell it!
  • So by the sounds of it no papers have been signed and no money exchanged? Sorry but in my world that is far from a "Done Deal"

what happened to the guy who first mooted the Aussie involvement after bumping into a guy in a Melbourne coffee shop? We need him on the case.

All I want to know is what thread we spout our rubbish on when the takeover is done & dusted.

That'll be the thread where we can bitch and moan about the new owners

Can’t wait to get back to the valley. Can almost hear valley floyd road booming around me and taking the missus (who’s never been to a football match) now we live in London and have no excuse.

She used to live in hereford, we did the long distance thing til a year and a half ago where we moved in together. She’s offered to go to charlton but gets mega confused when I tell her to not mention going whilst “that Belgian wanker owns the club” whilst simultaneously tell stories about showing the house my grandad grew up in round the corner from the valley etc.

    Poor thing.

  • I’m out and about in West Sussex, hence delayed response.

I knew there was a reason why I am in London today :-)

Strangely, even seeing that there was two new posts on the bitesize thread that I had campaigned for so vigorously, I decided to sift through all 148 posts on here first!

    Sorry admin.

Sounds like Murray really believes it and is trying to reposition himself as a good guy again.

Murrarys been shitty over the years and I feared he was still a bit odd but I suggest taking this one at face value. There's not much tactical depth to it.

He's communicating and the news is now encouraging.

It also means he might be gone when the takeover happens.

I'm personally not too bothered either way by that.

He's been a nob but maybe if he wasn't the non executive or whatever the hell he is, things might have actually ended up being a lot worse. We won't ever know that though.

It just appears like he's done f*ck all to help. Maybe that's not quite the case.
I've said before I reckon he'll come out with some bullshit about it was better to be involved & to "be the voice of reason" than to resign & leave them to it.
