you have to do all the crap ones just for these times0 -
I know, but when i have to pay roughly £600 on tickets alone to see just 2 away victories, you can see why others get out of the habit of travelling.0
-
well, I'm not going to Cardiff because of Pards negative tactics away from home at the moment. I will however reappear at Ipswich.0
-
Bloody hell - scary stats them Bart0

From what I can work out/remember. Since I got back from uni so, 04/05 season, my record is:
Attended: 25
Won: 3 (Plymouth, Palace, Birmingham)
Drawn: 7
Lost: 150 -
so 1 in 7 for you WSS -
I am sure it was worse than that in my day of going home and away.0 -
Not sure about recent years, but I still have the programs from the away games that I saw in 74/75 season which culminated in our promotion game at the Valley and subsequent Tunisia tour a few weeks later.
Away games that I attended:
FA Cup 2: lost 1, won 1
League Cup 1: lost 1 (but it was at ManU and we did score in the first minute)
League 17: lost 9, draw 3, won 5
Not too bad overall0 -
Attended:15
Won:2
Drawn:3
Lost:100 -

Bart would you kindly let me know the next away game you plan to attend......I'll make sure I'm doing something else that day!0 -
Not going away because we usually lose is quite a poor excuse IMO.0
-
I was on an awful run of about 1 in 15 (which was in the carling cup at chesterfield) during our relegation season
however last season turned it around a bit...
Hull, Palace, Preston, Cardiff, Shef Utd, Plymouth etc.0 -
I'll freely admit I don't travel much. I try to do a couple of games each year (Scunny & QPR last season).
I've managed 1 draw (Watford March/April 07) and absolutely zero wins!0 -
everton away i think was my last... :-)0
-
Palace away and Chesterfield if that counts.0
-
Last season Palace away,Hull Away Saints Away,Cardiff Away this season Donny, going ipswich and Norwich and Qpr and Reading and Sheff utd will pick and choose others.0

only 1 win in 8 over the last 2 years and that was palace0
-
Saw only 4 away matches last season:
Bristol City W 1-0
Leicester D 1-1
Sheff Utd W 2-0
Plymouth W 2-1
Didn't do any Prem aways in our relegation season - but if I had, we'd have stayed up......(!)0 -
I haven't seen us win at HOME yet this season!0
-
I haven't seen us win away since commenting on that previous thread. Mind you, have probably only done about four or five away games in that time.0

DON'T BE SHY - Just admit you posted on wrong thread :-)))0 -
Exact games I'm not sure of in the last 3/4 seasons but wins I can remember are Southampton in the last minute and errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Does Welling count? Or Gillingham? There must of been more wins than that errrrr Tottenham I think was one of the last away games I went to where we won before then and I didn't have a season ticket then.0
-
my own stats - league matches only since August 06:
attended: 21
won: 1 (Palace away, Sept 07)
drawn: 6
lost: 14
of those losses, 8 came in the relegation season.0 -
sounds like we need oggy red at every away game.we should start a buy oggy red a away ticket fund.0
-
In the last three seasons (not including this one as I've been out of the country all season so far):
League (cup):
Played: 14 (4)
Won: 1 (2)
Drawn: 5 (0)
Lost: 8 (2)
When you think that the two cup wins were against lower league opposition (Chesterfield and Swindon) and one of those was on penalties thats not a great record. Quite a lot of draws but it feels like forever sonce I saw a league away win, in fact it is over 3 years as the last one was the first of those 14 games away at West Brom in September 2005.
Really though West Brom is a home win for me, as every home game is like an away trip.0 -
Last season only got to see three aways Watford 1-1 Blackpool 5-2 Scunny 1-0 1 draw and two loses.
Saw us win away at Ebbsfleet Dover and Brighton...does that count?
:-)
Prior to that....bugger I cant remember!0
