This is just to let you all know that the POTY Dinner will return this season on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May with the same organising team as before. The 2017 event fell victim to some corporate silliness, but with a brighter future just over the horizon and new owners in place (possibly) and the play offs secured (less likely), we will all be able to enjoy the evening, meet the players and wallow in the joy of being Charlton supporters once again. Ticket prices will be announced during next week and it is anticipated that they will go on sale mid March. Make a note in your diary now and stand by for further instructions.

    Aw, thanks for asking, @iamdan.

    As far as I'm aware, my red card has now been rescinded & unless I hear to the contrary, I shall be fannying around as per usual.

    Regarding an invitation to our dearly departed CEO, I have already been in touch with her with a request to MC the event this time. We felt that this would be a nice touch, and a way to proffer the hand of friendship as our club looks forward to a new era.

    No response has been received thus far....

    ...but rest assured, I have no doubt that a pertinent reply will be received in due course.

    NB There will be a box of rotten tomatoes on each table for customers to use as they see fit.
