    he got in the b squad with us didn't he.

    He's got 6 goals so far in a team playing with wingers who can cross the ball and play to his strentghs something we never did

    Easy to say that now though. If Marcus Bent had scored 8-9 goals for Birmingham already there would be some people on here saying we should've kept him. However those people who slagged off Iwelumo last season are probably now realising it wasn't the player who was to blame but the one up front, lump it long tactics.
    Just to add that of the players who went i'd also have kept Bougherra.

    There wouln't have been much point in keeping him. As Ledge says, at wolves he is getting a decent supply from the wings, something that he didn't/wouldn't get here.

    The whole thing with him made me laugh, he must be the first player to get slagged off for the way someone else plays.

    We didn't have and still don't have any consistently good crossers of the ball. Wouldn't be scoring that often here.

    So why get rid of him, get some wingers who can cross the ball and he would be scoring at the same rate.
