    Agreed. Just hope that Pardew gives him a decent chance to show what he can do

    As someone said above, I think he's a confidence player. Would have been interesting to see how last season would have worked out for him if he had scored the 1 on 1 he had away to palace last season.

    Keep thinking back to that same incident. That goes in, he's a hero and maybe he's off and running on a goal scoring run.

    Just hope we, and Pardew, aren't setting him up for a fall. Long time out and not played a reserve game yet.

    As long as McLeod ditches the ridiculous colourful boots and cuts out the embaressing diving, he deserves a chance (but so does Dickson ? )

    Bloody good point.

    I think Bambi will come good but can't really see him being given a game anytime soon. He's still only a youngster as well isn't he? Looked good playing alongside Varney for a couple of games. It's another option up front anyway.
