Fifa 09

Having just got my fifa 09 game i was shocked to see there was no number 7 in our squad . Therefore no Jonjo!!! Does anyone know if there is a reason for this ??? ie is it an age thing ???

    ??? Are you asking as in, Child protection Laws?? if so shocking if true, but understandable. The way of the world i'm afraid.

    I thought it must be. What with him only being 16. What a sad society we live in. I was really looking forward to managing him lol

    The reason is Fifa licks balls. Your all fools for thinking Pro Evo is poor :)

    By far the best playability & its not a doddle to score like Fifa.

    If that is the case, was JonJo in this years team photo? I remember something under 17s being photgraphed!! like you say, its sad sad world.

    I'm not sure but if its true how stupid is that? He can be on telly Where any perv can record and watch as much as they want yet you cant be in a photo!!!! It makes my blood boil

    Uncle he's on my copy of Fifa 09 but it's for the PS3. Don't know if you have it on another platform.

    Is it worth buying for the Wii Was going to get it for Henry Jnr but he seems to think it's rubbish as there's not a proper stadium or players.

    I know nothing and care less about such games but he's coming to to 10. Wii or DS? Which is better?

    I did the FIFA research for one version (07 I think), don't remember anything about not being allowed to add 16 year olds, but maybe it has changed since then.

    Are you sure he's not there with the wrong squad number or something?

    They have u18 match reports, profiles including photos on the Charlton OS, surely its not that they won't allow 16 year olds to be in computer games?

    You can add created players as 14/15 I think...
    I hope Shelvey's in the Xbox 360 version.
    Anyone got a list of ratings or similar?

    Found out today many clubs don't want u16 players added to Football Manager (for example the ones playing for England in the Victory Shield today), so maybe its the same with FIFA, although I would have thought Shelvey was old enough to be included.

    Shelvey is in FIFA 09 on the 360.

    He's in the overall squad though and not the selected 16

    Exactly, no idea why people are saying PES 2008 was poor, I thought it was the best one ever! Then again I'm playing it on a PC and it looks a lot better than the console version.

    Really enjoyed it so far, despite the fact I have yet to win a game on Live :-(

    Perhaps the Ps2 was finished before the 360/Ps3 versions and at the time of completion perhaps Ea's researchers didn't know who our #7 was? Just a hunch or maybe it was an error on the Ps2 version. Editing Jonjo in is always a posibility tho..
